Re-modelling Project #1 (1/72BT Shield Liger)

As per title, i have decided to commence my Re-modelling Project with my half-painted kit BT Shield Liger. Since starting "Gunplaying" in 2010, most of the time i shall either painted my kit with industrial spray can or just straight snap-fit it. Recently i bought an airbrush kit and i thought i might as well paints all my kit or at least half of it since some of it were half painted. This shall be my first attempt using air brush and furthermore  enhance my modelling technique. As shown below are all the work in progress photo of my shield liger.

I prime and painted the frame at runner since i do it in fast track.some visible seam i repainted with marker. all done by using Anchor spray can (matte black and silver). Gold pipe i painted using Gundam marker and blue armor were not painted only panel lining.

Completed Shield Liger, using spray can.

Below are the re-modelling phase that i have done. i primed the blue armor and painted it with dark blue color and pre shade the part after that. The inner frame i re-color with Mr Color Super Iron and some part painted with gold for piping.

Complete the kit. My first impression as a firs timer on using air brush, i love it soo much. Very versatile piece of equipment. Now i cant wait to start another one...If got enough time.lol..

MC Model HG 1/144 AMX-004 Qubeley (Open Box Review)

This was my second kit by MC model. Superb detailing and a comprehend model from the original intrigue me to buy this kit, the only downside was its scale(1/144). It would be much to my liking if the model were at 1/100 scale and at this scale it shall exposing all the tiny details and giving more room to add more details and customization. For now i will have a photo review on the box opening of this awesome kit.

Love the box art even though its pretty much girly look.

Love all the MC Model instruction book, full with awesome art. For now i will start the snap fitting the kits first before proceed with the color scheme. Not much customization so far i'm thinking off since the kits were have enough stock detailing. I will concern more on color scheme for the armor and color to differentiate all the details.

LYN-001.2013 Gunplamo Group Build (Daban MG MSA-0011(Ext) Ex-S)

Recently i have entered a Gunplamo Group Build organize by 3rd party gunpla forum at Lowyat Forum. Surprisingly i had won 2nd place for painted build category. For an amateur and a beginner in this hobby i was very honored. My first intention was just to join the fun and as a beginner this competition may indirectly enhanced my skill in gunpla. I took this opportunity in trying pla-plates and customize the kit a bit even-though at first many idea rush through my brain. Well it didn't come out as expected, many thing i would like to do but lack of knowledge and tools restricted the customizing of the kit. As shown below, i try to make some details on the Ex-S gigantic thruster using pla-plates. Come out that the pla-plates to stick very well to the plastic, maybe i stingy on applying the cement.
Below are few photo on customizing that i have been made on the kit, mostly the details are inspired by G-Sytem Resin Ex-S and few photo that i google.

As for the color scheme, at first i would like some heavy weathering to kit, but some how i found that not much of metallic custom color been done by anyone for MG MSA-0011(Ext) Ex-S. Im using mostly anchor spray can (no budget on buying airbrush nor using tamiya spray can) for outer armor and hand painted the inner frame with Tamiya Enamel Metal Gun then polish with metallic powder to give metal effect on the frame. The result are so so and i was lazy to change other color that time.

well that it for now, i end this post with my entry Daban MG MSA-0011(Ext) Ex-S galleries.lol

Forgot to mention before, at early brainstorming i thinking of doing a kit bash of MG Ex-S with GN Arms Type-D but lack of skill and combine the kit.lol.Never the less below are the photo i took during the brainstorming using my old Bandai MG Ex-S.

Added photo comparison between two different brand MG Ex-S.
